What Others Think About You Is None of Your Business
"You have to believe in yourself when no one else does."
— Venus Williams

"You have to believe in yourself when no one else does."
If having others believe in you and your dreams was a requirement for success, most of us would never accomplish anything. Your decisions about what you want to do should be based on your goals and desires—not the goals, desires, opinions, or judgments of your parents, friends, spouse, children, or coworkers. Stop worrying about what other people think about you and follow your heart.
"When you’re 18, you worry about what everybody is thinking of you; when you’re 40, you don’t give a darn what anybody thinks of you; when you’re 60, you realize nobody’s been thinking about you at all."
— Daniel Amen
Surprise, surprise! Most of the time, nobody’s thinking about you at all! People are too busy worrying about their own lives, and if they are thinking about you, they’re likely wondering what you’re thinking about them. Meanwhile, all the time you spend worrying about what others think—about your ideas, goals, clothes, hair, or home—could be better spent working toward achieving your goals.

What you think about, believe strongly, and feel intensely, you will bring about.
"The empires of the future are the empires of the mind."
— Winston Churchill

You must become deliberate about what you think and feel.
Because our thoughts are made of energy, they can impact our physical world. Today, scientists understand that everything in the universe is composed of energy. Albert Einstein studied quantum mechanics—the idea that activating a particle on one side of the universe can create an instantaneous response in a partner particle elsewhere.
Knowing this, focus on asking for what you want—not what you don’t want.
Every day, you send requests to the universe and to your subconscious mind through your thoughts. What you think about, read about, and give your attention to creates your reality.
Even worse, negative thoughts act as negative requests. When you criticize yourself, complain, or focus on lack, you send those negative vibrations out into the universe. Similarly, when you blame, find fault, or judge, you focus on what you don’t want. The same applies when you worry: you create mental images of the very things you’re trying to avoid.
You must become deliberate about what you think and feel. When you react unconsciously to what’s happening around you—never intentionally focusing on what you want in your future—you remain stuck in your current circumstances. This is why many people’s lives seem to stay the same. They unconsciously recreate the same reality because the universe responds to the negative vibrations they send out.
Compare this with offering positive thoughts: feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, loving, appreciative, abundant, prosperous, relaxed, and peaceful. These emotions emit positive vibrations that attract good things into your life.
Whenever you catch yourself worrying or focusing on lack, quickly replace those negative thoughts with pictures, feelings, and emotions of you enjoying what you do want. This must be intentional.
Believe in what you want—and then take action.

By thought, the thing you want is brought to you. By action, you receive it.
You are deserving, worthy, lovable, desirable, and capable.
You are strong enough, attractive enough, rich enough, good enough, and “enough” in every way that matters to you.
Once you believe this, take action. The actions you take to create your desired result will affirm to your body and mind that what you want is within reach. This builds your expectation.
