The Need to Achieve
is low self-esteem required?
Dear Diary 07/20/25,
Love What You Do, my love.
There are over 7 billion people on this planet—and only 5% will ever be known. But here’s the thing: recognition isn’t the point. Fulfillment is.

When you love what you do, it stops being a game of proving, of self-loathing, of burnout disguised as ambition.
It becomes a journey of gratitude. Of devotion. Of becoming someone you’re proud of when no one’s watching.

But let’s be honest, you won’t love every moment.
Sometimes, discomfort is just a sign that you’re doing something new. And humans? We’re wired to crave comfort.
But comfort, if you stay there too long, becomes a cage. It keeps you small. It kills creativity, and suffocates the spark that brought you here in the first place.
Growth isn’t found in ease. It’s forged in friction.
The question is: can you find beauty in the becoming?

I want to fall in love with life. The uppers and downers.

To be seduced by ideas, late nights on Zoom solving unsolvable problems, architecture, poetry, wine, hard conversations with customers that show me areas where my business needs improvement, the ritual of my morning coffee and the way my oat milk froths to perfection.

Do you find beauty in the building, the unraveling, the creativity, the challenge, the stretch for personal evolution?
Each day, you’re weaving something, thread by thread.

A living tapestry of patterns, textures, emotions, and meaning. And your work deserves to reflect that: intentional, expressive, alive.

You don’t need to wait for someone to declare you “special.”

You don’t have to chase achievement just to earn approval.
Because if you seek validation in what’s outside of you, status, applause, rewards, it’ll never be enough.

You don’t have to be broken to become extraordinary.
Become Fluid, my love.
Emotional fluidity keeps you from getting stuck.

When shame or self-loathing show up, you don’t spiral, you stay open.
You don’t keep reliving the same patterns. You learn, you evolve, you move forward.
Welcome the anger, the fear, the anxiety, the excitement, the worry, because emotions are real.

Let them move through you, not get trapped inside. When you feel them fully and release them, you create space instead of tension.

Gratitude has a quiet power, it’s stronger than self-doubt, stronger than shame.
Darling, allow yourself to feel.

Im okay with the fact that people might hate me.
Im okay with the fact that I might be abandoned.
Im okay with being seen as not enough.
Im okay with being misunderstood.
Im okay with being rejected.
Im okay with the uglier parts of becoming.
Im okay with seeing the areas where I need to grow.

Im going to follow my truth. Remain intentional. Build with purpose. Devote myself deeply. Fall in love with the mission.
Because the only way out… is through.
