“en theos”

the state of being possessed by the divine.

Dear Diary 08/30/25

Divine Love

To live life on the frequency of divine is to see a world that no longer feels flat or muted; it takes on texture, taste, and color.

To live possessed by love is to live in heightened attunement.

You begin to notice the subtleties, the slight shift in someone’s expression, the smell of the air after rain, the way your own breath moves through your body.

When you allow yourself to love life in this way, you elevate your frequency.

The Divine Madness of Desire

The Greeks called it enthousiasmos.

To be filled with the gods, carried by a current of something greater.

That is what it feels like when love is fully alive.

You simply allow yourself to be overtaken, possessed, undone by your desire.

It is not weakness to love this way.

To love fiercely, without fear.

To love someone with devotion is to surrender to something greater than yourself.

It is not about control, or perfection, or demanding that your partner become an ideal.

It is about possession. To be overtaken by the desire to nurture, to understand, to give them the freedom to fall apart and the safety to rebuild.

To laugh.

To crave.

To love.

Love becomes a divine act when it stops being self-centered and becomes service.

When it is no longer “what can you give me?” but “how can I hold you, protect you, ignite you?”

There is a rhythm to it, a dance.

They discover each other, again and again.

It is in this dance that love remains alive.

xo,

the lover
