The Devil You Know

I must confess...

1.) One day you’re born. 2.) You will live a life life full of millions of sensory experiences. 3.) And then you will die.

His eyes studied me closely, making me wonder if they could penetrate through me, pick my thoughts right out of my mind before I’d even had a chance to process them.”

That’s the 100,000 foot view of your entire life, distilled into 3 sentences.

How you choose to interpret your life will dictate the depth of the sensory experiences you’re able to feel.

If you want your life to change, then you have to change.

Only one who has devoted himself to a cause with his whole soul can be a true master. This is why mastery demands everything of you.

You are only as strong and extraordinary as your give yourself reason to be.

How do you even change your life?

The ability to change your life comes from your ability to change yourself. And the only successful way to really change yourself is to reprogram your mind—to change your old habits, thoughts, and beliefs.

It’s hard though. With all the technology and stimuli that we are so busy with, we become over-sensitized to the 3D world and lose our understanding of the internal nebula of subconscious thoughts that regulate our life.

Close your eyes and release tension. Set intention.

So, we’re going to have to get really really deep here for a few moments and break down our brains to their fundamental core pieces so that we know how to reduce all of the noise and actually improve our lives.

You have to really understand 2 key things.

The mind consists of two parts:

  • The conscious mind: day-to-day thoughts and actions.

  • The subconscious mind: memories, beliefs, and habits.

Let's dive in.

Don’t worry. I make learning fun :)

The conscious mind is your thinking mind. It’s where we process information and accounts for about 5% of your choices day-to-day. This is why it’s hard to change. You are mostly aware of your conscious mind, and most people don’t really slow down enough to even analyze and understand their subconscious.

When was the last time you slowed down to think?

When you look into the subconscious mind, which is responsible for about 95% of your daily activities, it controls everything else. It's involved in information processing and affects everything we think, say and do. It stores our beliefs and values, determines our memories and monitors the information all around us, deciding what to send to the conscious mind and what to store for later. You’re almost always on autopilot because your subconscious deletes, distorts, and makes up realities so it does not have to process all the external stimuli that’s happening every single second.

If you aren’t paying attention to it, your subconscious mind rules your world without you ever noticing.

Are you aware of your thoughts?

“Neurons that fire together, wire together.”

You don’t need to be a walking zombie. You just need to bring more awareness to your subconscious mind.

How do you do this? It takes 3 steps:

  1. Awareness: What do you want to change about yourself?

  2. Practice: What am I going to do to get myself out of that state?

  3. Repetition: How many reps can I get in and at what frequency in order to reprogram myself fast?

Forget people who say you can’t change.

You are unstoppable.

Your mind cannot be conquered.

You are destined for greatness.

Together, we’re going to work on cognitive restructuring: identifying and replacing your negative thoughts with the thoughts that you want. This process helps you recognize the patterns of thought that you have on a daily basis and helps you to challenge the validity of your thoughts.

You become the angel and devil to your own thoughts.

For women: “I look disgusting compared to her.”

Stop. Float outside of your mind and sit on a little cloud. Look down at yourself and ask yourself some questions:

sit yourself on a ‘lil cloud and ponder…

  • What is this thought?

  • Does this thought support me in achieving the goals I have set for myself?

  • Does this thought allow me to enter situations with beautiful women in a mindset of plentiful abundance or confidence, or shriveled insecurity?

  • Does this thought help me to enter any situation more confidently and allow me to see myself as being capable of taking on any problem?

For men: “What a prick with his hot women and flashy cars.”

Stop. Float outside of your mind and sit on a volcano with flowing lava, looking all badass. Look down at yourself and ask yourself some questions:

you’re watching the lava pour down all around you while your envy fills your veins… take a moment and think about your thoughts.

  • What is this thought?

  • Will this thought make me a million dollars in my business or just make me hate people with money (which never serves someone who wants to make more money)?

  • What is a thought that I can replace this thought with that will serve me to make more money to achieve the Lamborghini and hot women?

**This is obviously male/female dependent, but as I do not have a male mind and don’t really know what your day-to-day thoughts are about yourself and others, I made an assumption over what you might get jealous of. Please feel free to insert whatever thoughts you have on a daily basis that do not serve you.

You might be thinking to yourself, “You’re really bringing up visualization?”

The power of what your subconscious mind sees.

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. Your brain cannot decipher between what is REALITY and what is PERCEIVED REALITY.

The issue is not an external issue. The problem is an internal restlessness. A fundamental human need is not being met. An unraveling begins.

This is why visualization is powerful. You have to see your thoughts in a third-person point of view so that you can begin to understand how much your subconscious actually dictates your thinking and become aware of all of the thoughts that you have on a daily basis that no longer serve you.

“When they finally get silence… their internal chatter begins to take over.”

As humans, we have around 60,000 thoughts every single day. Of those, 75% or 45,000 are repetitive.

What are repeating in that gorgeous mind of yours?

Think about that.

You are repeating to yourself all the ways you are a failure or all the ways you hate people who have money over and over and over again.

How do you expect yourself to be in a state of gratitude or abundance if you do that?

Don’t allow the nebula of thoughts to rule your mind.

But you might be wondering… Sof, why is even having a state of gratitude or abundance something to want in life?

Because we attract energies and frequencies in life that we emit to others. Victory comes from finding opportunities in problems. If you are in a negative state, then the day-to-day problems you have an opportunity to work through in life become overbearing and too hard to handle.

It takes a a lot of energy to succeed over the long haul. Physical, emotional, and mental vibrancy. It’s the key force that drives your life.

Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

You have to be in a mental state of preparation for the opportunity of problems to come knocking.

Start by getting clear on what you want.

  • Do you want a family?

  • Do you want to run a company?

  • Do you want a partner that meets you when you come home with a smile and the kiddos or do you want your partner fighting alongside you to build an empire?

  • Do you want to a work at an office?

  • Do you want to work from home?

  • Do you want to look good every single day and wear the boss ass suit? Or do you prefer to wear sweats? How do you want your team to see you on a day to day basis?

  • Do you want to be able to go buy a coffee every single day without thinking twice about your expenditure? Or a car? Or a cosmetic procedure? Or a trip across the world?

  • Do you want to develop high-income skills or are you immediately wanting to make money in a large corporation and build your way up in that company?

  • Do you want to be creative in your work or do you want to lead meetings and build teams?

More importantly, who do you need to become in order to make that vision come true?

Bring the joy - people are as happy as they make up their minds to be.

  • What is the percentage chance of you doubling or tripling your income?

  • What is the chance that you serve others tenfold the amount that you are right now?

What is the chance that you’re able to pay this Christmas for 1-2 people who desperately want your weight loss medication from Skinny Theory, where you’d be able to provide them the medication free for their New Year's to reach their weight loss goals?

What if it was 5 people? 10 people?

What revenue targets do you have to hit in order to be able to best serve others? What could you do to then build more courses, trainings, exercise, and mental health programs to truly help women completely transform themselves into becoming more confident and empowered?

When you decide that you have to level up to become someone who is more capable for an outcome that’s bigger than yourself, your "why" will become unstoppable.

You should never wait to add value to people’s lives just because you don’t think you’ve made it yet. The time to have the map is before you enter the woods.

Disappear and work on changing your life.

Turn on airplane mode and find audiobooks, podcasts, and new mentors that push you to achieve new goals in life. Always strive for greatness.

There are five months left in 2024. Go all in.

Your past has nothing to do with your future. Let go and focus on where you’re going.

People overestimate what they can do in a year but underestimate what they can do in a decade.

How bad do you really want it?

Bring smiles to peoples faces and enjoy the journey of self mastery. Every moment of your life is a precious gift. Don’t take it for granted.

To decide comes from the Latin root word meaning to cut off all other options. Where will you be if you just don’t give up?

Your desire to stay comfortable will kill your dreams.

Envision your future.

Determine the feeling you’re after.

Define what’s meaningful.
